Quand on dit d’abord ce qui est, et ensuite ce qui n’est pas, on a le choix d’employer et non ou et non pas :

  • En français, trivial a le sens de vulgaire, et non d’insignifiant.
  • En français, trivial a le sens de vulgaire, et non pas d’insignifiant.

Avec l’article partitif, on doit employer pas seul :

  • Ils avaient de la nourriture, mais pas d’eau.
