About the author

After studying literature, Jacques Beauchesne spent a number of years teaching in private and public education. He then entered the public service as a terminologist. At the time of his retirement, he was a translator of parliamentary debates. In collaboration with Pierrot Lambert, he translated works for the Guérin publishing company, including Philosophie de l'éducation, by the Canadian philosopher Bernard Lonergan.
