On ne peut employer le verbe causer, dans le sens de « discuter », avec la préposition à (causer à quelqu’un). Il faut plutôt utiliser causer avec :
- causer de politique avec quelqu’un
On peut utiliser la préposition de pour introduire le complément ou omettre la préposition :
- causer de politique
- causer politique
