An adjective is a word that describes or modifies a noun or pronoun. Adjectives tell us what kind of thing or person is being described, how much or how many there are, which one(s) we mean, or whom the person or thing belongs to. For example, the words amazing, red, several, five, this, every, whose and their are adjectives.
