Des juristes européens emploient encore le mot vieillissant querellé pour désigner soit ce qui fait l’objet d’une contestation (bornage querellé, bien-fonds querellé, limite querellée de deux fonds contigus), soit l’acte ou le document objet d’une contestation ou d’un litige. « La société Fidal ne paraît pas avoir reçu notification de la décision querellée. » Jugement, testament querellé. On dit plus couramment bornage contesté, limite contestée, décision attaquée, arrêt 1, jugement attaqué.
