L’expression en tout temps ne correspond pas à l’anglais at any time. Elle signifie plutôt « en toute circonstance, quel que soit le temps » :
- Il est aimable en tout temps.
- J’aime les hommes ponctuels en tout temps.
Ainsi No parking at any time ne se traduit pas par Défense de stationner en tout temps, mais simplement par :
- Défense de stationner
- Stationnement interdit
Dans certains contextes, les locutions à tout moment ou n’importe quand pourront être avantageusement utilisées.
