I collect languages too! My parents were immigrants, so language was an issue from the get-go. But the more languages I learned, the easier it became. I now work as a translator. So far, I've learned Polish, English, French, German, Russian and some Italian. I've dabbled in Spanish, Hawaiian and Greek. Arabic looks quite challenging. If I had all the time and money in the world, I would learn them all! Thank you for your article.
