L’expression plan de pension est un calque de l’anglais pension plan. On la remplace par régime de retraite ou régime de rentes.
Le nom régime a toujours un sens collectif; il s’applique à un grand nombre de personnes ou à plusieurs groupes qui peuvent, à l’intérieur du régime, opter pour un plan particulier :
- Le plan familial d’un régime enregistré d’épargne-études.
