Certains le condamnent comme anglicisme, d’autres lui attribuent la mention familier ou vieilli. D’autres encore le considèrent comme un canadianisme.
Les établissements autorisés à vendre des boissons alcooliques (ou alcoolisées) peuvent afficher simplement :
- vin, bière et spiritueux
- titulaire d’un permis d’alcool
