Le mot job, employé au féminin au Canada, est un anglicisme à remplacer par emploi, poste ou travail, selon le contexte.
- Son emploi est menacé. (et non : Sa job est menacée.)
- Il revient du travail. (et non : Il revient de la job.)
Bien que la majorité des ouvrages critiquent cet emprunt, certains dictionnaires européens l’admettent comme un terme familier masculin désignant un travail rémunéré non qualifié et temporaire ou encore tout travail rémunéré.
- Il s’est trouvé un job d’été.
- Christophe s’est déniché un bon job après l’université.
