L’emploi de la préposition sur devant le nom écran est très courant dans les domaines de l’informatique et de la bureautique :
- afficher des données sur un écran
- conserver des images sur un écran
- image qui apparaît sur l’écran
On peut aussi laisser tomber l’article ou employer la préposition à :
- travailler sur écran
- travailler à l’écran
