Clauses and Phrases 2

Clauses and phrases are similar, yet different. As you may recall, a clause is a group of related words that has a subject and a predicate. A phrase is also a group of related words, but it lacks a subject or a predicate or both. (See Grammar-Ease: Terms and Definitions for a list of English grammar terms and their definitions.)
