Springtime Vocabulary

As the saying goes April showers bring May flowers. And after our long, Canadian winters, even rain is a welcome alternative to the snow, especially since it’s a telltale sign that spring is upon us. For more reminders that spring has sprung, take our Springtime Vocabulary quiz!

Each question below consists of a series of clues. First, find the term that corresponds to each clue: for example, couple + mouth = two + lips. Then string the terms together to get the whole word: in this case, tulips. But be careful! As with two and tu, you may have to rely on sound—and ignore spelling—to find the final answer!
