The Juno Awards—or the Junos, as they are informally known—are given to outstanding musical artists in Canada. With a slight spelling change, they were named after Pierre Juneau, the former CRTC chairman who helped to encourage increased Canadian content on radio and television.
- With 24 Junos under her belt, Anne Murray is the top all-time Juno Award winner.
- In 2014, the Juno Awards ceremony was held in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
