hoser, hosier, Hoosier
Hoser is Canadian slang for a goofy, slightly dull-witted but endearing person.
- Dave washed my car, but left the windows open: what a hoser!
Do not confuse with hosier (maker of hosiery) or Hoosier (a resident of Indiana).
- Did you say that your grandfather was a Hoosier or a hosier?
