Flaunt means to display boastfully.

  • Sebastian constantly flaunts his expertise to colleagues and superiors alike. His attitude is: If you’ve got it, flaunt it.

Flout means to defy or treat with contempt.

  • Students who flout the rules will be suspended from school.
