capitalization of logos

In capitalizing logos, you should follow the same guidelines you use for capitalizing headings. There are two possible methods.

  1. Use title case (capitalize the first letter of each major word):
    • capitalize the first and last word; and
    • capitalize all words in between, except for articles (a, an, the) and any conjunctions or prepositions of fewer than four letters.
  2. Use sentence case (capitalize the first letter of the first word and any proper nouns or adjectives).

Whichever style of capitalization you choose, remember to use it consistently whenever you use your logo or make reference to it in your writing.
