Thanksgiving feast

In Canada, we celebrate Thanksgiving on the second Monday of October. The tradition is derived from ancient European festivities celebrating a bountiful harvest. To find the makings of a traditional feast of thanks, decipher the clues below.

Instructions: Each question consists of a series of clues. First, find the term that corresponds to each clue: for example, longing + 2nd letter + possess = wish + b + own. Then string the terms together to get the whole word. In this case, the word is wishbone. But be careful! As with own and –one, you may have to rely on sound—and ignore spelling—to find the answer!
