Season’s greetings! Whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah or Kwanzaa, have fun decoding the seasonal vocabulary below.

Each question below consists of a series of clues. First, find the term that corresponds to each clue: for example, yearn + bends = pine + bows. Then, string the terms together to get the whole expression: in this case, pine boughs. But be careful: as with “bows” and “boughs,” you may have to rely on sound (and ignore spelling) to find the answer!
