Le verbe dédier ne s’emploie pas à la forme pronominale. On ne peut pas se dédier à une cause, on peut dédier sa vie à une cause, ou encore se vouer, se consacrer à une cause :
- Dédier ses efforts à la recherche. (et non : Se dédier à la recherche)
- Elle a dédié sa vie à la pauvreté. (et non : Elle s’est dédiée à la pauvreté.)
