Le nom possible est surtout employé au singulier, dans le sens de « ce qu’une personne peut ».
- Il a fait son possible.
- Elle a travaillé dans les limites du possible.
- Ils exigent le possible.
- Le possible est proche du réel.
Dans certains cas, on l’emploie aussi au pluriel. Il a alors le sens de « choses qui peuvent arriver ».
- L’adolescence est l’âge de tous les possibles.
- Il faut être ouvert à tous les possibles.
- Vous devrez analyser les possibles du réseau informatique.
