Le nom longue-distance (ou : longue distance) est un calque de long distance call.
En français, on emploie le terme appel interurbain ou interurbain :
- faire un appel interurbain
- payer des frais d’interurbain
Si les frais d’appel sont payés par le destinataire, on utilise l’expression à frais virés.
- Il a fait un appel à frais virés.
- Tu peux m’appeler à frais virés quand tu seras arrivé à destination.
