L’adjectif informé s’applique à des personnes ou à des choses personnifiées dans le sens de « bien renseigné » :
- C’est un public informé.
- Cette nouvelle suscite de l’inquiétude dans les milieux bien informés.
- Nous le tenons de sources bien informées.
Il s’emploie aussi dans le sens de « qui repose sur des informations sérieuses, solides » :
- Ce livre est bien informé.
- L’opinion publique est mal informée.
- Il a fourni un témoignage informé, précis et sincère.
