L’expression sous forme est normalement suivie d’un nom introduit par de, forme étant précédé ou non d’un article :
- Un médicament qui existe sous (la) forme de capsules et de gélules.
- On prévoit de grandes précipitations sous (la) forme de pluie.
L’expression sous forme peut aussi être suivie d’un adjectif :
- Certains minéraux se trouvent dans la nature sous la forme cristalline.
- Nous ne savons pas s’il y a de l’eau sous forme liquide sur d’autres planètes.
Le tour sous une forme de + nom est absent des dictionnaires.
