confiance (avoir confiance)

Après avoir confiance, on peut employer soit en, soit dans (quelque chose ou quelqu’un) :

  • J’ai confiance en/dans mon directeur.
  • J’ai confiance en/dans vos capacités.
  • J’ai confiance en/dans un remède.

Mais on dit faire confiance à quelqu’un.

Quand le complément est accompagné d’un article défini, on emploie la préposition dans :

  • Il ne met pas sa confiance dans les hommes.
