Le nom condition a déjà été jugé impropre dans le sens d’« état ». Mais aujourd’hui le mot s’emploie pour dire qu’une chose a les qualités requises :

  • Cette marchandise a été livrée en bonne condition.
  • Ce livre est en bonne condition. (= en bon état de conservation)
