L’expression compter que signifie « espérer fermement que, s’attendre que, croire que », et non « avoir l’assurance que » :

  • Je compte qu’il me remboursera d’ici la fin du mois.
  • Je ne compte pas qu’il vienne.
  • Je compte bien que vous serez des nôtres.
  • Compter que les vacances permettront à tout le monde de se reposer.
