Le tour présentatif c’est… que (ou c’est… qui) sert à mettre en relief un élément de la phrase :
- C’est demain que nous partons.
- C’est un arbre majestueux que le chêne.
Il peut aussi avoir une valeur explicative :
- Si j’ai fait cette erreur, c’est que j’étais distrait.
La concordance des temps n’est pas obligatoire :
- C’est/ce fut le grondement de l’orage qui la réveilla.
