Le verbe baisser sert à décrire la direction d’un mouvement. Il ne peut servir à indiquer le point d’aboutissement.

Si une action de 36 dollars baisse de dix dollars, on ne peut pas dire qu’elle baisse à 26 dollars. On doit dire qu’elle tombe à 26 dollars, ou encore qu’elle est passée de 36 à 26 dollars.
