A wee accent

A wee accent

After falling off her horse, Sharon Campbell-Rayment suffered a brain injury—and picked up an accent. The woman, who has always lived in Southern Ontario, started talking with an Irish lilt blended with a Scottish brogue. Sharon is one of only 60 people worldwide diagnosed with foreign accent syndrome. The condition may last a lifetime or disappear as instantly as it appeared.
