Did you know the Official Languages Act is forty years old this year? To mark this milestone, the Office of the Commissioner of Official Languages is presenting an exhibition of the works of Canada's top political cartoonists.
The exhibition traces the history of the Official Languages Act. It also takes a lighthearted look at language issues that Canadians have debated over the last 40 years. The main exhibition runs in Ottawa until the end of December, while a smaller version is currently travelling across Canada until May.
