The editors of the Oxford English Dictionary (OED) have recognized more additions to our English language! In its recent quarterly update, the OED includes some new words and also some new definitions for existing words whose meanings have changed over time. According to OED editors, deciding what will be a lasting addition and what may merely be a linguistic flash in the pan is not an easy task. LARPing made the list, but words like phablet and dogoir didn't make the cut. To discover the meaning of these terms and find out if you saw any scratchiti lately, see 'LARPing', 'scratchiti' declared words by the Oxford English Dictionary (www).
