Festival of the Written Arts

Organizers tout the Sunshine Coast Festival of the Written Arts in Sechelt, British Columbia, as "Canada's longest running summer gathering of Canadian writers and readers." Started in 1983, the Festival has grown from a tent to its own outdoor 465-seat pavilion. Past guests include well-known Canadian authors such as W.O. Mitchell, Christie Harris, Sarah Ellis and David Suzuki. Tickets are in demand again for this year's event, which will be held from August 12 to 15. Find out who will be there and what's in store at Sunshine Coast Festival of the Written Arts.
